Annual Events that Support our Mission:
We would like you to join us during the year to participate in our major events.
Poker Run (April):
One of our major fundraisers, this event allow participants (on motorcycles or cars) to make the best poker hand to win the tournament. The route starts at Willhoite’s, makes it way through area to a last stop with food, beverage, raffles, silent auction, 50/50 contest and the announcement of the winning hand. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
Main Street Fest (May) / GrapeFest (September):

Chili Cookoff (June):
In 2023, we were again fortunate to be named CASI Chili cookoff’s event charity. Ambuc members were in attendance to judge the chili and two trykes were presented at the event held in June at The Vineyard Campground. The three day event included over 70 chili cooks and the winners won an automatic entry to Terlingua.
Mark Stanfield Big Heart Golf Tournament (April):
Get your four some together to enjoy a day at Grapevine Golf Course with the awards being presented at the luncheon included with the entry fees. Lots of raffle items, a live auction and many sponsorships are available.

Golf Tournament (October):
Join us for a weekend golf trip that includes a room, dinners, and fun all included in the price. Lots of raffle items, a live auction that benefits our Vocational scholarships.
Bowling Challenge (February):
Bowlers from local companies and civic groups compete for bragging rights. Held at
Adopt-A-Road program (all year):
Support of the City’s Keep Grapevine Beautiful project. Every other month we meet on Thursday evening and Saturday morning to pick up the trash on Main Street.Spring / Fall Into Nash Farms:
A historical Grapevine landmark and educational destination where individuals can learn about farm life in the early 1900's. Ambucs provides staffing for the concessions that are available at the event.Rise Adventure (Spring and Fall):
AMBUCS cooks the burgers that are provided to the participants in the adaptive water sports that Rise Adventure attendees get to enjoy.
Six Stones:
Working with City Departments and other civic groups, Six Stones provides necessary outside repairs, painting and landscaping for applicants that are unable to maintain their home.
